The Ideaton is a youth-led hackathon where young people from different state schools in rbkc come together to design creative, practical solutions to real community challenges.
It’s all about turning ideas into action through teamwork, innovation, and civic engagement.
The best projects are then developed further and presented to decision-makers for real-world impact.

how would the process work?
- The main event dayall teams of young people, come together to create a solution to a particular issue in the borough. teams of 5-10, will present their ideas to a panel of judges.
there will be experts who will provide talks on the matter, and politicians.
the winning team will receive a prize and an investment towards their project - implementationthere are a series of steps that will be taken, to implement the young people's initiative into the world.
They can expect meetings with politicians, experts and coming into organisations like youth council
being featured on the social media, to showcase updates with their project and lots of support. - executionOnce your project actualises and becomes real, you will forever be part of the ideaton legacy.
